It was quite the battle between our two juggernauts, Bust a Bucket and Basketbawful. Both mowed through the competition to reach this point, where they faced the battle of their bloggy lives. Only one blog would emerge victorious.
There were two thousand, seven hundred and seventy-eight votes, the most ever in a single poll in Pete Marasmitch history. Sixty-six percent of you have chosen this blog as having the best header in basketblogdom.

These blog playoffs have it all: upsets, blowouts, even a tie. I can say, without any exaggeration, that the BHP blows March Madness out of the water (OK, a little exaggeration).

After much discussion, bargaining, and even outright begging, we’ve come to a decision about this tie between TWolves Blog and Nugg Doctor in the Basketblog Header Playoffs (BHP): go to the video replay.
That’s right. College Wolf and Nick have each submitted a YouTube clip of a great playoff moment in Timberwolves and Nuggets history, respectively. The clip you like more will propel one of them into the BHP Elite Eight.

After much nominating and deliberating, sixteen basketball blogs have been chosen for their beautiful header images. They are divided into conferences, seeded one through eight and pitted against each other using polls (no, not like this), until one winner is revealed.
Will the winner get a trophy? Naw. But they will get internets-wide recognition for their blog prettiness. And all blogdom will bow down, says Zoner.
