Who’s drafting who in my fantasy league

I predict the FG% will be low in this league.
Today’s a special day: The draft begins in the Raptors FANtasy League, where Toronto Raptors fans, bloggers and media collide.
Here is the complete list of fantasy GMs vying for that coveted RFL Championship Trophy*, in draft order, along with links to their sites and Twitter accounts:
- Dr. J. Naismith, Raptors Forum, @RaptorsForum
- Romes, Hip Hoop Junkies & Hoop Heads North, @romyaquino
- AltRaps, The AltRaps Blog, @altraps
- James Borbath, Dino Nation Blog, @dinonationblog
- Nat, Heels on Hardwood, @Nat77
- Eric Koreen, National Post & A Snack and an Ego Stroke, @ekoreen
- Raps Fan, Raptors Republic, @RapsFan
- Vicious D, Raptors HQ, @RapHQVicious
- Cuzzy, Cuzoogle, @cuzoogle
- Me
- Tim Chisholm, 3 in the Key on TSN.ca, @timpchisholm
- Zack Cooper, FAN590, @ZCooperstown
And here’s the neat thing for those of you who care about the above people and/or fantasy basketball: You can watch the picks unfold in real time on this Google Spreadsheet!
The draft will be going on for days, so keep checking back to follow the action, and to praise or pan our choices in the comments below.
* No, there is no real trophy.

Nicely done Jeff and thanks again for helping roll out this league like you did.

What kind of league is this? Roto? H2H? how many cats?
I can’t see how Kobe can go first or 2nd overall..depending on the type of league, I can’t see Howard going 3rd either LOL

It’s a ten-cat (incl. mins.) H2H league, no moves. What GiveMeTheRock.com calls a Mock Draft League.

Nice team so far Jeff. Getting Amar’e in the second round was a nice gift, especially if he qualifies at center.

Thanks, Patrick. The draft is complete, and I’m happy with my team overall. We’ll see how things go once the season starts.
Week 1 opponent: Raps Fan. We’re coming after you, Sam!

I’m putting my money on Altraps (despite hating to admit he picked a good team – will depend on KG’s health). Nice balance throughout though – should be interesting.

What, no love for my team, Tom?
Yes, AltRap’s team looks pretty good. And, having seen all the GM records, I say look out for Hip Hoop Junkies and TSN Smackdown.

Yours should be great as well – same question about Kidd/Sheed. Stoudimire should put up even biger #s with Shaq gone. I think Martin is a bit overrated – but he probably plays well given the fantasy scoring methods.
