BHP tiebreaker: TWolves Blog vs. Nugg Doctor
After much discussion, bargaining, and even outright begging, we’ve come to a decision about this tie between TWolves Blog and Nugg Doctor in the Basketblog Header Playoffs (BHP): go to the video replay.
That’s right. College Wolf and Nick have each submitted a YouTube clip of a great playoff moment in Timberwolves and Nuggets history, respectively. The clip you like more will propel one of them into the BHP Elite Eight.
Watch the clips and vote, after the jump.

TWolvesBlog should definitely win because the video I submitted is longer.

Being that I am a partial founder of Bloguin, shouldn’t TWolvesblog win by default?

Kendall Gill = Fail

Dangit. We are tied… again.
What is the tie-breaker-breaker?
April 17th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
And TWB should win because I commented first.
April 17th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
Well, technically I’m the only one to comment.
That’s how dedicated I am.

And where … is the Nugg Doctor? He’s at home, washing his tights!!!
OK, CW – you said something about a tiebreaker-breaker? I say a Kevin Garnett-Kendall Gill danceoff.
April 17th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
KG doesn’t dance… he destroys.

Twolves blog is the bomb…Kendel Gill sucks…nuff said
April 17th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
How come this was even a tie??? The Twolves blog is a solid site and has great NBA minds…
Any one who references Kendel Gill is an epic failure

You guys act like kendall gill was a Nugget! the video is obviously about how funky fresh robert pack’s flat top is the and the mutombo crescendo. and how about a little respect for site, huh? I must be tied for a reason and I’m a one man band!
April 17th, 2009 at 4:57 pm
I’m just playin
You’re winning now too!
egads!

so unfair, Nuggets have 30 more wins (so have many more fans) and this site can’t even give us this win.
April 17th, 2009 at 6:20 pm
I like this idea MUCH more than my tie breaker idea.
April 17th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
All is fair in love and war. But seriously, the real winner here is Bloguin. I’m happy that so many of us are recognized in this contest.
April 18th, 2009 at 12:53 am
30-70?
Booooo. That sucks.
April 18th, 2009 at 2:16 am
I sent several twitter msgs asking Shaq to get his army to vote for our Nugg Doctor. Guess he did… didn’t have anything else to do!
April 18th, 2009 at 7:51 am
Nuggs with an early lead, can they hold on to finish and advance to the next round?
April 18th, 2009 at 8:21 am
VH – That’s cool. Hi, Shaq!
chmick – Don’t blame Pete Marasmitch for the Nugg Doctor’s lead. This site is just hosting this contest, not deciding it. Frankly, I didn’t vote.
April 18th, 2009 at 10:28 am
I declare a re-vote!!!!
Hanging chads!!!!
April 18th, 2009 at 10:46 am
I’m just praying to God, every ten minutes, that this isn’t the only second round the Nuggets make it through to.
Thanks for the support, Nuggets Nation.
Go Nuggets!

No contest here. The Timberwolves were the #1 seed that year. Denver’s 1994 team had a total of 9 playoff games of experience on their entire squad, all of those playoff games given to two players (Reggie Williams and Robert Pack).
What people forget is that 1994 Nuggets team nearly did the same thing to Utah in the next round. They were down 3-0 and stormed back to a 3-3 tie and kept up with Utah until the 4th quarter of game 7. If they would have won, who knows what they would have done to Houston in the Western Conference finals that year.
